The test estimates how much performance your PC is leaving on the table because of configuration — not hardware. It compares what your machine should deliver in the game you pick against what similar machines usually deliver with no Windows tuning at all.
It is ten questions about your setup: device type, game, processor brand, model and generation, memory, graphics card, monitor and motherboard. No signup, no email, nothing downloaded to your computer.
The result is an estimate based on what you told us. The real number only shows up by measuring on the machine, with FPS and latency before and after — and that is what the session does.
