The cases optimization actually solves
These are system symptoms, not part failures. The gain comes from clearing what was getting in the way of hardware that was already good enough. See the full method, layer by layer.
- FPS swings a lot: it climbs and drops inside the same match for no clear reason.
- It freezes for half a second at the decisive moment — the classic clutch stutter.
- The mouse feels heavy or delayed even with high FPS on screen.
- The PC starts fine and gets worse after half an hour of play.
- Windows was never set up for gaming: factory install, new laptop, store-built PC.
- Good ping on the test, but the match does not keep up.
The cases not worth your money
We would rather say this now than after you pay. If your case is on this list, optimization will give a small gain and you will feel you wasted money — rightly so.
- The graphics card is the real bottleneck for the resolution and game you want to run.
- You already had a professional optimization recently and Windows was not reinstalled since.
- What you expect is doubling the FPS of a machine that is already well configured.
- The problem is the game itself being poorly optimized, the same for everyone — we cannot fix that.
- Your internet plan is not enough. Optimization works on latency at your end, not on the speed you subscribed to.
The warning signs
This category has serious people and it has the other kind. These signs apply to any provider — including to judging us.
Asks for permanent access
Installing remote access software that stays on after the session has no justification. Access happens during the session and ends with it.
Will not let you watch the screen
If the technician does not show what they are doing in real time, you have no way to know what was changed — or to undo it.
Does not measure before and after
Without a number on screen before starting, any result afterwards is their word against yours. Measurement is what separates a service from a sales pitch.
Promises a fixed FPS number
Nobody can promise "+100 FPS" without seeing your machine. The gain depends on the hardware and the state of the system.
Has no company or address
With no registered company and public address, there is nobody to hold accountable if it goes wrong.
Asks for passwords or bank details
No optimization needs your bank password, your card outside of checkout, or access to your email.
What an honest provider shows
The inverse of the list above. These are verifiable before you pay — not promises.
You watch everything
The session runs on your screen, live, and you can end it whenever you want.
Measures in front of you
FPS, 1% low and latency measured before and after, with the same tools, on the same machine.
States the real duration
Manual work takes time. Anyone promising the same in twenty minutes is applying a ready-made pack.
Has a written guarantee
Window, conditions and refund path published, not agreed over chat.
Has a company and address
Registered company and public address on the site, not just a social profile.
Says when it is not worth it
Someone who turns down work that will not fix your case has more to lose by lying than by being honest.

Everything here is checkable right now, without talking to anyone. To see who is on the other side, read the about page; for the guarantee in full, it is in the refund policy. The same ruler applies to any provider: see how to choose an optimization service.

What optimization does not do
This list exists because it defines what you are actually buying. Per-game numbers, with before and after, live on the landing pages — the CS2 one, for example.
- It does not replace hardware. If the part is the limit, the limit stays.
- It does not increase the internet speed you subscribed to.
- It does not fix a game with server problems or poor optimization from the studio.
- It does not survive a Windows reinstall — if you format, it has to be reapplied.
- It does not give the same gain on every PC. An already tuned machine gains less, and we say so beforehand.
What people ask before closing
- Is PC optimization a scam?
- The practice is not. What exists is people selling it badly: promising a fixed FPS number, not letting you watch the screen, not measuring before and after, or asking for permanent access to your machine. Those are the warning signs. A serious service shows a registered company, a written guarantee, measurement in front of you, and tells you when it is not worth it.
- Is paying for PC optimization worth it?
- It pays off when the problem is systemic: unstable FPS, mid-match stutter, input lag, or performance dropping after half an hour of play. It does not pay off when the graphics card is the bottleneck for the resolution you want, or when the machine went through a recent optimization. Optimization is no substitute for hardware.
- How do I know I can trust you before paying?
- Check what you can check on your own: public company registration and address, a written guarantee and refund policy on the site, and the promise that you follow the session live. UPBOOST publishes all three — company ID 57.482.889/0001-08, an address in São Paulo, and a 15-day guarantee with a full refund if the revision does not solve it.
- Is it safe to give remote access to my PC?
- It is, on two conditions: you must see the screen the whole time, and access must end with the session. We use AnyDesk while you follow along on a Discord call, and nothing stays installed afterwards to let us back in. You can end the session at any moment.
- How long does it take?
- 1 to 3 hours, depending on the plan and the state of the PC, all in a single session. It is manual work, layer by layer. Anyone promising the same result in twenty minutes is applying a ready-made pack.
- What if it does not work in my case?
- The guarantee is 15 days. If you notice no difference, we review it at no cost. If the revision does not solve it, the amount paid is refunded in full, within the guarantee window.
