Visual detail makes enemies harder to see. Dense vegetation, elaborate shadows, particle effects — all of it is extra information on screen competing with the only thing that matters: a player outline moving in the distance.
That is why competitive players lower graphics even on devices that could handle more. It is not only about FPS: it is about seeing better.

It would be dishonest to say it serves no purpose.
- Recent device with headroom — if performance is to spare, better visuals are pure gain
- Casual players, playing for the experience rather than rank
- Content creators — better visuals show up in the video
On emulator the maths changes
On PC the analysis is different, because the limit is rarely graphics processing.
Free Fire was built for entry-level phones, so even MAX asks little of a PC graphics card. The emulator's bottleneck is usually memory, because you are running an entire Android system inside Windows.
